Looking back at Shirley from the lead of pitch 2 of Peking...easy climbing and not really that chossy from what I recall.
In late October of 2004 (23rd and 24th), Shirley & I spent a nice weather weekend climbing some introductory trad lines in the main area of Smith. On Saturday, we climbed the
Lion’s Jaw (5.8) and
Lycopodophyta (5.7). On Sunday, we climbed the complete
Peking (5.8). The classic first pitch crack is well known to most but the upper pitch was quite alright too (easy and not too loose IMHO).
