Stone Mountain’s south face at sunset.Looking at the Select Climbs guidebook for the state, it sure seems as though North Carolina is one of the best places for rock climbing on the East Coast (beautiful looking granite and plenty of multi-pitch around!). Unfortunately, we’ve only done two (scary!) trips to Stone Mountain thus far. Would love to go back.
