MNHCC
MNHCC on El Cohete.
The following day we finally hiked up canyon and the climbed the proud looking El Cohete formation via its 500 meter long Mejor No Hablar De Ciertas Cosas or MNHCC – an 11ish pitch 6b route. The outstanding final 4 or 5 pitches (splitter cracks and clean faces) are guarded by a ~300 meter “approach” gully where the climbing is no harder than 5.7-5.8 but is a bit loose and a touch exciting in one or two places. The descent involves many double rope rappels down the route and is a little bit of a pain in the ass. Still, it was a great day.
