Alas Del Viento.Chichidho Compound.Another quick, dead of winter trip to Queretaro: looks like our Pena de Bernal cadence is five years though I think that with this trip we are done with the place. Can’t really fathom another dedicated trip to this particular monolith; though perhaps as a stop on some longer road trip. Other than the thickening bureaucratic bullshit, there’s nothing wrong with the area. But life is short and it’s a big world out there with plenty sunny rock to sample.

Espolon Central.Tequisquiapan.We left at some ungodly hour on a Saturday and were tossing down gorditas and shots of mescal in Bernal in the afternoon that same day. We had three routes planned for the outing but the afore mentioned bureaucratic bullshit would conspire against us and we’d only knock off two of them.
