In November of 2008, we went to Smith with Bubba’s to Picnic Lunch Wall link up idea in mind. We had just come back from our extended trip to Europe to December of 2008. We did the two pitches of Bubbas In Bondage (A1+…one hammered in placement…had I known that it would only be one, I would’ve tried harder to do it hammerless) and fixed a rope. We then somehow ran out of motivation and eventually took our rope down in late November (note that a rope hanging to the right of Bubba’s for a longer while was not ours). This slow down of climbing desire seems to always hit us in the fall. Not sure if we’re motivated to go back.
