South Crack on Stately Pleasure Dome.
We went to Yosemite Valley for a few days in 2007. We came off a long stretch of not climbing and were “not feeling it.” We failed a lot – just somehow did not have our mental shit together. Did manage to get a couple easy routes (mostly in Tuolumne): Braille Book (5.8), South Crack (5.8) on Stately Pleasure Dome, and Zee Tree (5.7).

Braille Book

Shirley at some hanging belay on the lower half of Braille Book. Decent if forgettable climbing; nice views though (May 2007).

Shirley near the top of Braille Book - this is the final pitch of the dihedral that the route shadows for all but one or two top pitches (May 2007).

Shirley topping out on Braille Book on Higher Cathedral Rock. HC Spire visible in background (May 2007).
South Crack
