Go back to Cat Ba Day 3.
Go back to Vietnam.
Butterfly Valley.
A break from the seaside climbing on day four. Instead, we headed for Butterfly Valley on the island and (perish the thought!) some single pitch sporto stuff. Decent half day even if it’s not our cup of tea. Also did an 8 km jungle hike around the area in the afternoon. This was reasonably fun with some fauna (twig snake) and much vicious flora: almost everything will either kill you if eaten or sting you if touched. That final night on Cat Ba was spent on a junk boat – wanted to try for the hell of it. Posh.
