Go back to Makassar To Tana Toraja.
Tau tau.
In the morning, we got picked up from our hotel by Mr. Arru and our driver, Tono, for our first day of exploring the Toraja Highlands. We first drove out to the Kete Kesu Village to see some old versions of the traditional Toraja houses (called tongkonans) with their characteristic boat shaped roofs and the nearby “hanging graves” or chambers hewed out of vertical rock walls (place is called Londa).
