Go back to Ecuador.
Go back to Cojitambo.
Capac Nan.
On the third day, we climbed a 6-pitch line called Capac Nan (6b), which includes the three pitches of Mata Pena. This one was mostly trad and very nice, especially the upper two or three pitches. Cojitambo has a funny ambiance as the villagers are actively quarrying rock from near the base of the formation, meaning there’s a constant clanking and hammering noise as you’re climbing.
