Summary

Shirley signed us up for a guided, 2-night climb of the Red Banks route on Mount Shasta sometime in early 2001. The outing included some basic snow instruction (crampons, ice ax etc..). We climbed the route in a group on Memorial Day Weekend in 2001. This was the transition point from our backpacking days to climbing…have not been same since.
