In many ways, this place reminds us of Arizona’s Cochise: though the area is slightly smaller in scale, the routes seem to offer more crack climbing mileage. We’ve done three very brief trips to date – just enough to whet our appetites. A bit of a pain to get to for those who have to fly in and are seeking a quickie trip, but doable even on a standard weekend. Would love to go back for a few more classics. Also, the lower approach (eg. White Punks) is reasonably dog friendly; the upper or standard approach is not.
