Australian chocolate (Jan. 2015).
Following a series of flights that stretched some thirty hours, we picked up our rental car and headed for downtown Hobart in search of the elusive carrot bolt hanger we’ve heard so much about. However, it seems those things have gone out of fashion as we found only puzzled looks on the faces of sales clerks. Hobart itself struck us as a nice little city with an acceptable density of liquor stores (bottle shops) and decent coffee. Later we’d also learn that it had pretty good brunch places where we could practice our Portland religion on non-climbing days.
