Go back to Harau Valley Part One.

A selfie with Joulee.
The following morning, we met Joulee who took us to two climbing crags. Harau Valley is indeed very scenic and seems to hold a huge potential for future route development, including multi-pitch lines. The rock is conglomerate and most of the walls are steep; those that are sub-vertical tend to be heavily vegetated. We climbed a couple of routes at the first crag (a 5.9 and a 5.10-) and tried a 10+ route at the second crag. The single pitch stuff just doesn’t make our hearts sing. But we very much enjoyed hanging out with Joulee and her friend Joey.
