JTree Day 2018

Go back to Joshua Tree.

Walk On The Wild Side

Walk On The Wild Side.

Another work related trip to LA courtesy of Shirley’s job.  This one with a bit of drinking on Friday night and consequently a late wake up (in LA) on Saturday morning.  We climbed the classic Walk On The Wild Side route (5.8, 3 pitches) on Saturday afternoon.  I should’ve checked the description a bit better before setting off since I lost the route above the second bolt of pitch 2 and then found the third belay after a long (if not too hard) runout.  Sunday morning we climbed the single pitch Right Baskerville Crack (5.10a) and then drove back to LA with enough time to tap some out of this world tacos before flying home. Is all.
