In the morning, we drove 30 minutes from Bandung to a good looking limestone crag called Citatah 90 where we wanted to climb a 5 pitch line called Tuan Nyonya clocking in at 6a. I believe that the 90 refers to the height of the crag in meters. The approach here was minimal but the first two pitches of the route were soaking wet and quite muddy and slick. The upper portion of the route was very nice though and led to a cool little summit. The scene was generally lively as there as a climbing school for teenaged students happening at the base of the crag.

After a great lunch, Dadan and Nagib took us to the Guha Pawon (caves) where we admired some steep single pitch climbing routes inside a cave system reminiscent of a crag in Bulgaria that I had seen in a book. Spectacular setting if single pitch sporto is your thing.
