Appetite For Destruction.Our perpetual quest to find something fresh and local took us out to Kloochman Rock by Tieton on a sunny Sunday in early April. The goal was a sporto chosspile called Appetite For Destruction, a 6 pitch 5.10d up Kloochman’s First Tower. Though Shirley and I have been there in the past, we somehow ran out of drive to do the climb itself and ended up at some marginal breakfast place in Yakima instead. This time around, we had brought some motivation in the form of our two friends, Ye and Craig. The good company made the whole package enjoyable though I’m not sure how fired up about choss climbing we feel…post-trip blues continue. Back home early enough for a quickie bbq.
