Summary
This was Memorial Day Weekend in 2002. We drove out to Idaho (along with our friend Patrick Wang, RIP) and tried hiking up Borah Peak only to get stormed off below the Chickenout Ridge. We drove to City Of Rocks afterwards & TR’ed some stuff on The Wart formation and led a 5.4 route on the road-side face of Bath Rock. I also scored a speeding ticket somewhere in the Idaho boonies. Is all I recall.
Shirley & I would come back in July of 2003 and bag Borah Peak via the same hiking route.

Shirley & Blondie passed out in the backseat on our drive over to City Of Rocks (Memorial Day Weekend 2002).
City Of Rocks

Shirley admiring the view of the City from top of an unknown formation. The crag beyond her is the Parking Lot Rock (June 2002).

Bath rock, road face. The diagonal crack/flake in the center of the photo is a nice 5.4 route that tops out on Bath Rock in about 1.5 pitches (June, 2002).
