Sulawesi — Bintang Time.

Our flight from Perth put us in Bali in the early evening. A short night in an airport hotel was followed by an early morning flight to Makassar in South Sulawesi. There we were met by Mr. Arru (the guide) who gave us the good news: yes, there would be a funeral for us to attend despite this being the low season for such festivities. From the airport, we drove 8+ hours north up to the Toraja Highlands.
