An 18 hour layover in Jakarta before flying home allowed us enough time to do an evening street food tour. A combination of taxi and subway rides kept the time wasted in traffic jams pretty reasonable. Probably the best food of the trip and some durian for desert to boot. Jakarta sure feels and looks different compared to what I remember from my first trip there in the early 2000s.
