Summary
In April of 2011, we spent a drizzly Saturday on the west side of the Lower Gorge. In the morning, Shirley warmed up on Wildfire (5.10b) and then led Last Chance (5.10c). Then the rain started and we started to hike out…then the rain stopped and we hiked back to Cruel Sister area and I led Blood Clot (5.10b). Sunday was spent helping our Mazamas friends with their rock course. We hiked in to the east side of the Gorge with Toby and Spencer. The guys led a whole bunch of nice 5.9 cracks on the Shakespeare Cliff and Shirley gave a go on Original Sin (5.10c) on the hike out. Though it did not go cleanly for her, it did get her stoked to come back for another go (I was less stoked after falling out of it on TR). The end.Photos
