South Arete On SEWS

Summary

On October 12th, 2002 Shirley, our friend Jeff and I did the South Arete (5.4) climb together. Perfect weather on this sunny side of the mountain. Easy rock but spectacular spire and a fun accomplishment early in our climbing life. Ran into only one more climber (soloing) from Methow. Saw a party rapping off the Liberty Bell.
