Quick day trip to The Bend to try to shake off some well-established cobwebs and to start getting Davey used to the idea of waiting for us at the base of a climb. Despite our mid-day arrival, we found the parking lot totally empty – thought that maybe they forgot to remove the nesting closure signs (but no, all good). Did Hallowed Ground (5.9; which apparently, we have not done since 2008), Cruel Harvest (5.9), and Tiers (5.9).

Sunday was much funner as we took the boys to Thomas Lakes in the Indian Heaven Wilderness of Washington.
