Go back to Ecuador.
Go back to Galapagos – First Day And A Half.
Santiago Island.
We did a short hike on Bartolome in the morning including the first sightings of Galapagos penguins. Some fantastic snorkeling around the island later in the day with sightings of white tip sharks, rays, and more penguins. Best snorkeling we’ve ever done? Quite probably. The day was rounded out by a lave hike and more beach time and snorkeling on the nearby Santiago Island (turtles galore!). The final half day was spent on the Island of Santa Cruz where we got to see giant tortoises. From there, we flew back to Quito.
