Family reunion.Looking at the flight options, we realized that we could cherry pick a reasonably priced itinerary which would allow us a 9 hour layover at Heathrow. We would have just enough time to take a train into the city and meet up with family. A few additional family members got onboard and so a quick little reunion combined with a walking tour of cold and wet London was thus born. We enjoyed seeing everyone (even if very briefly) but were soon back at the airport and waiting for our flight to warmer climates.
