Summary
Shirley starting up the Cocaine Connection (May 2004).
Shirley & I made our first trip to Leavenworth in early May of 2004. We climbed the 2-pitch
Cocaine Connection (5.7 nice, mostly easy slab route) and then joined up with the third pitch of
R & D route (5.6) following that to the top of Icicle Buttress. A nice day out even if we spent quite a bit of time waiting for the party ahead.

Looking up at pitch 2 of Cocaine Connection. There's a party on the third pitch (roughly) of R&D route. We'll join it for that flared but easy chimney below the guy in yellow shirt (May 2004).
