Shirley and I climbed the West Face of the North Gossip route in October of 2005 a day prior to the start of the “Splitter Camp” Shirley signed us up for. We did it at about 5.10- and C1, with the lower 1.5 pitches offering the nicest crack climbing. Still sandy of course but nice. The chimney that splits the summit was also fun. Great views from the top of course. We’d come back two years later for the South Gossip.

We then spent three days participating in the Splitter Camp the highlight of which was spending time with the amazing Bobbi Bensman (Shirley’s idol) as our rope gun!
